Heart-Speech

An essential leadership skill is presenting your ideas and concerns to others, who must carry them out and expand upon them. An intelligent audience is quick to catch marketing-talk designed to obfuscate, overpower or evade their reasonable concerns. Heart-Speech has impact because it overcomes people's resistance through openness and sincerity. It is delivered spontaneously from one's depth.

The cynical audience expects that you have an ulterior motive for even your honorable initiatives. Speaking from the heart is the way to win the hearts of others, while maintaining your own integrity and building an environment that values wholeness. When you speak from your depth and stay within your direct experience, you reach the depth of your listener, connect to the ideals you share, and speak compellingly.

This workshop will give the experience of Heart-Speech, not just the concept. Practical techniques for presenting your vision and priorities to others will be tried out as each participant learns to use their Emotional Intelligence in presenting, and giving feedback on the presentations of others.

The course devotes time to each person's presentation, following the instruction in and practice of the method of achieving the state of wholeness from which one can speak.
